Roles and Responsibilities of the Office of the Honorary Consulate of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Nepal

As the Honorary Consulate office, our office is dedicated to serving the interests, of both Cambodian citizens in Nepal and fostering strong bilateral relations between Cambodia and Nepal. The primary roles and responsibilities of our office include:

Consular Assistance

Providing consular services and assistance to Cambodian citizens residing in or visiting Nepal.
Offering guidance on legal and administrative matters, as well as facilitating communication between Cambodian nationals and relevant authorities.
Enhancing diplomatic and economic ties between Cambodia and Nepal.
Facilitating trade, investment, and cultural exchange programs to foster mutual understanding.

Emergency Support

Assisting Cambodian citizens in emergencies, including natural disasters, accidents or other unforeseen circumstances.

Promoting Bilateral Relations

Facilitating visa services for Nepali nationals planning to visit Cambodia for tourism or business purposes.

Visa information for Nepali Nationals

Nepali citizens planning to visit Cambodia for either tourism or business purposes are required to obtain a visa. Here is a brief overview of the visa application process for both categories:

Tourist Visa

Tourist visas are granted to individuals intending to visit Cambodia for leisure, sightseeing, and other non-business activities.
Applicants are required to submit a completed visa application form, passport-sized photographs, a valid passport, and proof of financial means to cover their stay.

Business Visa

Business visas are issued to individuals traveling to Cambodia for business-related activities, such as meetings, conferences, or negotiations.
Applicants usually need to provide a letter of invitation from a Cambodian business entity, proof of financial solvency, and other relevant documents.
